We started this blog to document, honestly and in real time our pursuit of a far-off dream.

We believe life is rare, and it’s worth chasing what calls to you with everything you’ve got.

We’ve been influenced by many others sharing their journey and hope that sharing our journey might also light someones fire. 

We're not here to sell you a course or a shortcut.  What we offer is real experience, told honestly.  

What you do with it is entirely up to you.

On June 2nd 2024, we left Portland, Oregon

for wisconsin

From Wisconsin, our plan was to head to Switzerland for two months to visit Nicole’s family.

From Switzerland, we were going to travel until we found what felt like a nice place to open a bed and breakfast.

However,

along the way

we found out

Nicole was pregnant

After deciding to have our baby in Switzerland,

we navigated the beurocratic maze in order to move to Switzerland.

And are continuing, (via the baby detour), along the road of opening a bed and breakfast.

This is a trust experiment,

a test of our willingness to follow an uncertain path towards our dream.    

   

 It’s not some polished manifesto.

It’s just our corner to tell our story,

the real stuff,

the suck

the sublime. 

 

We’re chasing something that feels real. 

And if we’re lucky,

say something that helps you continue along the path only you can walk.  

 And should you catch us slipping,

churning out shit like:

“10 Best Things to Do in Bumfuck Nowhere,”

or

“15 restaurants that will have you shitting your pants in Rome”,
